Description

The Australian Kangaroo gold bullion coin is a product especially recommended to investors who want to protect their capital. It is a coin minted from pure gold, fineness Au.9999, weighing one troy ounce. Its manufacturer is the renowned Australian mint – Perth Mint. The investment value of the golden Kangaroo is emphasized by the fact that it is guaranteed by the Australian government and is a legal tender in the issuer’s country.

The item with the image of a Kangaroo is one of the most frequently chosen investment products by collectors. It is worth adding that what distinguishes this product from other gold investment coins is that the design of the coin’s reverse changes every year. Moreover, it has additional security in the form of an engraved letter “P” on the reverse side.

The history of this unique bouillon dates back to 1987. For the first 21 years of production, the gold kangaroo was minted as a coin called “gold nugget”. Importantly, since 1995 the image has been invariably decorated with a kangaroo; earlier designs depicted, in addition to the kangaroo, mined gold nuggets.

The obverse depicts King Charles III of Great Britain, designed by Dan Thorne. You can also find information about the nominal value of the security.

The reverse shows an adult jumping kangaroo. There is a windmill in the background. The coin has the inscription “KANGAROO” and information about the weight, year of issue and fineness of the metal. The reverse was designed by Wade Robinson.
