The Seymour Unicorn is the 4th BU design in the series and the 5th overall in the series. The Seymour Unicorn has been a part of the Royal Arms since the Union of Scotland and England during the reign of King James I. However, it appeared in heraldry in England more than half a century earlier. The mythical creature has long been associated with grace, purity, and nobility.
